  1. Frankly, I do not buy a set of two. Buy individual pieces, either cook on a regular basis. Stainless is best for searing and stir-fries. Now begins is wonderful in foods rich in starch.

A series may seem like much, but if two courts are growing cobwebs in the closet, you lose the savings.

In any case, you should consult with Macy's is really a case. For Copper / stainless steel kitchen appliances, if the whole is less than $ 400, probably the quality is poor. Everyone should be heavy frying pan by hand or drive heat and bend. There should be no plastic handles and the handles must be nailed in, not attached with a screw.

At a price, but a quality steel is fantastic triple Henckel or Calphalon. Both are strong, the behaviorHeat evenly and will be evaluated by Consumer Reports and Cook's Illustrated.

  2. When you cook an egg on stainless steel and develop, then stick with it. You will not be able to cook everything in a nonstick pan. But this is not the stick is a better cleaning. Nonstick lose after a few years, no matter how you treat them. Never use metal utensils on teflon or dishwasher. it ruins the coating. Steel may go in the dishwasher.
