Easter Masks Christians: If Some Of You Don't Celebrate Halloween, Why Then Do You Celebrate Christmas And Easter?

Christians: If some of you don't celebrate Halloween, why then do you celebrate Christmas and Easter? - easter masks

Today, Halloween, Christmas, Easter and all were drawn from the practices and pagan beliefs. I know some of you say that Christmas to celebrate, because it is the birth of Christ, is reminiscent of Easter celebration or the account of the resurrection. However, Christ was not on 25 Born in December and there was no Christmas tree at the birth. For Easter, Easter Bunny, why not? It is too pagan.

If scary Halloween masks are bad, why a Christmas tree or search for easter eggs set in when these practices are of pagan origin?

  1. Well .... Here's the difference ... The data are certainly of pagan origin. These data were used by the Chruch try to clean the pagan connotations for so long by the followers of this religion to sanctify, if you want. What separates the Christmas and Easter Halloween is that there is no religious reason for Halloween, and that comes only to pagan beliefs. Christmas and Easter are the events to define Christianity as we know it. We welcome the result, not the date.

  2. When I was a child (not so long, I'm only 33) was nothing of the controversy over Halloween. Everyone celebrated and had fun doing it. It was not until recently that people started to mess around. I do not understand why all of a sudden she became a major problem of this kind I'm tired of people constantly trying to perceptions of other persons, living or not lose Pagan-who cares

  3. I am a Christian, but do not celebrate these holidays as Christian holidays. These days are the days of the birth or the day of resurrection, but remember aside .. though .. As a Christian, you should remember and celebrate his birth and the resurrection of every day ... Therefore we do not celebrate. Some people just need a day to remind them .. then forget it after that day.

  4. Because of the social events that make people happy to not have to be religious. Visit the church many, many religions celebrate Christmas (including Jews, Muslims, and more ...) and I do not think much to the birth of Christ, because it's fun! And there's nothing wrong.

  7. Originally Halloween with witches and witchcraft. This is wrong because God decide the sole right to our lives. Christmas vacation was a Roman origin, but the fact is that we celebrate Jesus Christ. Are you saying that we have the fact that he lives, should celebrate? Easter is not really the Passover. It Resuretion Sunday. Heiden framework to make it to your taste. Christians for Christmas decorating and Easter egg hunt at Easter for Christians are blind. The Gentiles to your taste. So turn santa.

  8. If the atheist does not believe in God, why take the Christmas break, a piece? ? ?
Why not the work of the other holidays of the Christian faith? ?

  9. I've always wondered the same thing. And if I had conversations with pastors about this, they remain on the defensive ... I wonder whether the transition am to Judaism. No, I'm open their eyes to what you really!

  10. Since this is a free country, and we celebrate (or may not) also think that we want the holidays - and no offense, but I do not think that we are to justify our decisions.

  12. I celebrated the 3rd Halloween, however, is the pagan festival. It was found, 1 to compensate November All Saints Day. Christmas and Easter were offset from drives that other pagan festivals. Halloween is the one who has worked in the opposite direction.

I am happy for my children. We know an "Easter Bunny" in our house, and my children that "Santa". We have a tree just because it is traditional, but for no other reason than that. Halloween is fun for my children and my daughter knows that his story of how the other two holidays. Its just traditional means nothing to our faith.

  14. You're right. It is the same. I do not buy a Christian and not buy a Christmas tree and Easter bunnies to. Commercialism and greed know the holiday season to make money to God. To celebrate, I, as a Christian consciousness, and in my own way, so it really is. But I can not speak for others, only myself.

At that time some of my best memories were is ridiculous that .... these things are for kids, if u want it to be religious thats fine but do not take the fun away from them .. Think of all XDR XDR memory child hood, when a Christian, it allows the children on Halloween UR UR pages suddenly not anti-Christian ....

  17. The short answer is tradition.

The longer answer is that early Christianity to help in the effort to win converts, acquiescence or up / proposed new local festival in the calendar of the Church.

Through the Bible, the birth of Jesus, sometimes in August or September.

The appointment will be used in December, just because the Church of Rome has new converts to observe their practice Saturnalia in mid-December to continue. Protestant Christianity began to reject the biblical aspects of Catholic Christianity. How many of those talks that have been rejected, and when dependent rejected a Protestant denomination that. [FWIW, Catholic Christianity later rejected some of its most prominent of Scripture.]

Easter is the place where the moon was celebrated as the crucified Jesus. The Easter Bunny at Easter slipped through a pagan festival. It was a compromise with the pagans at the time. Christian discontinue [the date. Pagans run the event.]

Halloween crept into the Christian Calendarar that the saints. _usually_ The Church has the distinction between the Feast of All Saints Samhein and differentiated maintained.

How do these secular events are both the world and organized Christianity has changed over the years. At various points in the U.S. and British history, one of the three has been banned and then left. [In Britain, this prohibition does not apply universally, except by the "peer pressure".]

Events are organized, as in today's society have no resemblance to how they were celebrating the pagan festivals and when.

A strong case could be that the only reason these holidays are still celebrated, is trade, not religious.

Try to find a Christmas tree set up on the first night. Even better would be to try to get rid of a Christmas tree the day after the Epiphany.
[This is a good bet that you want to have cut himself, as the date was collected in the Christmas trees for more than a week before the date of the Twelfth Night --- that 'tradition andquot; dictate under the tree, so we saw the Christmas period of days as a Christian saint.]

As a side note, I will only say that some pagans oppose these days to which they have bastardized the Christians.

  19. I love you! : D
All of them are pagans, CEPT Yule (Pagan Christmas) on 21 December will celebrate!

They are at different times, but all pagan festivals! or "Sabbath"!

I think they are trying to divert attention from our holiday!

And just because Samhain (Halloween) is when the sun is dying god and the god of the game takes over, and all spirits are particularly active, does not hurt! Come on ....

If you and things that happen on Halloween ACCUALLY its not bad!
Children do bad things like pipes and stuff, but thats their own accord. We do things the pagans all bad! :)

As .. stop stealing our vacation and so on.

  20. I do not celebrate Halloween, but not because it is pagan in origin, but because it is a holiday for the children. And all that candy is bad for your teeth.

  21. Well, I have answered your question. Christians celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus (note, if you are not sure, a birthday celebration to find only one days) and because of the Easter resurrection. Who says that Christians put the Christmas tree and color the eggs? They represent the general public and popular views of all stakeholders.

The other thing I would say is that nothing prevents the continued practice of "pagan". Pagan worship of the "gods", however, would contradict the principles of Christianity.

Not quite sure where you found the fear of Halloween masks are evil, but there are many Christians who do not plan on the fun of Halloween, and simple. The modern version of the festival today has little to do with the pagan roots in the night. It also brings money into the economy and is a good thing.

  22. Halloween is an ancient tradition (the Gentiles, yes), but it has nothing to do with the traditions of Christianity. While many of the holidays and Christian holidays come from the Greek and Roman traditions, and some (such as Christmas) was completely pagan again, since almost all meaning is lost religion, Easter is a rite of rebirth of spring (the Christ, the way more) than anything else. Christianity has lost much of its opposition in Europe and America, gilded, but people need a spiritual element in their lives. Something new is created over time. In the meantime, I prefer to take a "pagan" celebration with Santa are that the stiffness of the Taliban and their mullahs in my face.
