Here is a recipe my doctor told me to diaherra:
ReplyDeleteA grain of oral rehydration therapy (ORT)
On average, affected infants and children between 2 and episodes of diarrhea each year. Diarrhea is a major medical problem when the results of dehydration due to rapid fluid loss. To prevent dehydration, cereal mix ORT solution, and then you give your child at the first sign of diarrhea.
Solution cereal CITY
1 / 2 cup 1 cup rice cereal for infants
2 cups (16 ounces) water
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon tea
1. Precisely measured with a teaspoon 1 / 4 to measure the salt, leveling with a knife. Dissolve salt in water.
2. Gradually, thick cereal with water until the mixture is like water. Mix well.
By providing a solution of oral rehydration therapy for diarrhea each stool. Babies need a cup, older children, a full cup. Discard the mixture after 6 to 8 hours or if they drink too fat to win.
If your child is vomiting, offer the mixture in small amounts (1 / 2-1 tsp) minutes. If she vomits frequentlyevery 45 minutes, call your doctor for instructions.
You can continue breast or formula, your baby in an episode of diarrhea. Age children to eat solid food May you put your normal diet, expecially starchy foods such as cereals, bread and pasta, bananas rich in potassium. Avoid fruit juices, isotonic beverages, soft drinks and foods that are rich in sugar.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (APP) recommends the initiation of treatment with oral rehydration and continued feeding at once during an attack of diarrhea. A grain of oral rehydration therapy is a cost that can shorten the duration of diarrhea of her son.
Adapted from the training manual for the treatment and prevention of childhood diarrhea with oral rehydration therapy, nutrition and hygiene. International Foundation for Children's Health, Inc. Gerber.
Gatorade Is it? Give him a little if you can. Bananas are also good.
ReplyDeleteCan you have low sodium vegetable broth w / a little crusty bread dipped in so it is gentle enough for them? That's what I eat normally, if I have a stomach infection.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to point out that yogurt has more commercial gelatin is not vegetarian as well. Except ... No milk!
She is a vegetarian, made his vegetarian. 9 years, one month can choose to be vegetarians. To avoid that sounds stupid, I would say that I am a vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteHow many of you people are losing the game that says you can not come in Pedialite?
The BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple, toast) is a great thing for anyone who have a stomach virus. So the bread) should be fine (if you can tolerate more, maybe add the cinnamon sugar or jelly on bread with a little taste.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
For the BRAT diet. They also give Pedialyte MAINTAIN its hydrate
ReplyDeleteBANANAS
RICE
APPLE
Toast
